Please note since all production is in house and hand-made, perfection is not achievable and is not necessarily the goal either.

Ghostielocks is all about the experimentation of mediums to create wearable art pieces that bridge the gap between art and design.

Through our experimentation, we often find our “mistakes” lead to innovation and unique new techniques.

Our focus is not on perfectly printed pieces, but rather innovation in design.

Please note, some pieces may have ink stains or imperfections within the print.

We believe this is what makes each piece special and unique.

By purchasing our products, you are aware of our brand philosophy and that these imperfections may occur.

Ghostielocks does not accept any returns do to the nature of our designs.

After Care Essentials

After care is essential for the longevity of our products.

With how much love and care that goes into each design, we want your new Ghostielocks products to last for years to come.

Please note, we will continuously update this page as we expand our repertoire of mediums.

Please note, if you wish to iron any of our products please use a pressing cloth. Do not place iron directly on fabric.

Steaming is preferred over ironing.

Screen prints

Please wash all screen printed items inside out on a cool, gentle cycle.

Hot water can lead to fading ink and shrinking of garments, so it is best to use cold water when possible.

Hang drying is recommended. If this is not possible, please use low heat or air dry setting instead.

Foiling

Foiling refers to the metallic technique we sometimes use during screen printing. If a product is foiled, it will be listed in the product description.

Please always turn garment inside out, so the foil is not facing the outside. This will help prevent agitation and friction on the foil during the washing/drying process.

Please always wash with cool water on a gentle cycle. Hang drying is recommended always.

The dryer will eventually lead the foil to lose its luster and metallic properties over time, so please avoid if possible.

Bleach

We use bleach in a variety of ways throughout our assortments. Please read product descriptions, to see if bleach was used in your product.

If you have a sensitivity or allergy to bleach, please read full product descriptions before purchasing your items.

Ghostielocks is not responsible for a customer’s allergic reaction to any of the mediums we have listed.

Please follow same care instructions as above.

Avoid washing with whites, due to bleaching technique residual dye could wash off within the first few loads.

Wax

We use a process called wax batiking in a variety of our products. Please read product descriptions, to see if wax was used in your product.

If you have a sensitivity or allergy to wax, please read full product descriptions before purchasing your items.

Please note due to wax application, products have a stiffer hand-feel.

Over time the garment will become softer with each washing cycle, however, it will always be a bit stiffer than our other cotton products.

Please exercise caution with the following:

Face masks- our face masks contain cord locks on the elastic loops to better fit our customers.

When removed, these can be considered a choking hazard. Please do not remove cord locks around children or pets.

If removed, please keep in safe place away from all children and pets.

Scarves- Our scarves can also be used as wall hangings to spice up your indoor decor.

If you hang our scarves, you are assuming the risk of fire hazard.

Please do not put any open flame near wall hangings/scarves.

Allergies- If you have any skin sensitivities or allergies, please read full product descriptions before purchasing.
